FUNNY
Funny as an abnormal adjective is different, aberrant, bizarre or eccentric. Providing fun; causing amusement or laughter; amusing; comical: a funny remark; a funny person. attempting to amuse; facetious: Did you really mean that or were you just being funny? Warranting suspicion; deceitful; underhanded: We thought there was something funny about those extra charges. Informal. insolent; impertinent: Don't get funny with me, young man! Curious; strange; peculiar; odd: Her speech has a funny twang. Informal. a funny remark or story; a joke: to make a funny. diverting, comic, farcical, ridiculous, droll, witty, facetious, humorous. Funny, laughable, ludicrous refer to that which excites laughter. Funny and laughable are both applied to that which provokes laughter or deserves to be laughed at; funny is a colloquial term loosely applied and in popular use is commonly interchangeable with the other terms: a funny story, scene, joke; a laughable incident, mistake. That which is ludicrous excites laughter by its incongruity and foolish absurdity: Funny also means causing laughter or amusement. Intended or designed to amuse. Strangely or suspiciously odd; curious. Tricky or deceitful. Synonyms include off-base, off-beat or off-colour.
TEES
Tee is the 20th letter of the alphabet and is a consonant and can also mean any spoken sound represented by the letter t. Can also be used as in "That suits you to a T" (or to a tee - which is also used in golf). Tea is not the same because it is a drink and not a garment.
TEE SHIRTS
Tee shirts are short-sleeved, collarless undershirts, lightweight, usually knitted, pullover shirts, close fitting and with a round neckline and short sleeves, worn as an undershirt or outer garment. Tee shirts (or tee shirt) are shirts, usually buttonless, collarless, and pocket less, with a round neck and mostly (but not necessarily) short sleeves, that are pulled on over the head and covers most of a person's torso. The sleeves of Tee shirts extend at least slightly over the shoulder but not completely over the elbow (in short-sleeve version). A shirt that is either longer or shorter than this ceases to be Tee shirts. Tee shirts are typically made of cotton or polyester fibres (or a mix of the two), knitted together in a jersey stitch that gives a Tee shirt its distinctive soft texture. Tee shirts are often decorated with text and/or pictures, sometimes used to advertise. Tee shirt fashions include styles for men and women, and for all age groups, including baby, youth and adult sizes. The origin of the name is uncertain: many refer to the shape of the shirt as a "Tee", while it could also emphasize the use of the army as a "training shirt". The shape-based theory is supported by the existence of an A-shirt in the 1930s USA, which was the usual undershirt later labelled the tank top. It is also a possibility that the name "tee" comes from amputee, a reference to the shortened length of the arms. Tee shirts were originally worn as undershirts. This still occurs, but Tee shirts are now also frequently worn as the only piece of clothing on the top half of the body. Tee shirts have also become a medium for self-expression and advertising. Tee shirts typically extends to the waist, although one fashion is for "oversized" Tee shirts, namely in modern hip hop fashion. A more recent trend in women's clothing involves tight-fitting "cropped" Tee shirts that are short enough to reveal the midriff. Another popular trend is wearing a "long-sleeved Tee shirt", then putting a short sleeved Tee shirts of a different colour over the long sleeved shirt. This is known as "layering". In the 1960s, the Ringer t-shirt appeared and became a staple fashion for youth and rock-n-rollers. The decade also saw the emergence of tie-dyeing and screen printing on basic Tee shirts. In 1959, plastisol, a more durable and stretchable ink, was invented, allowing much more variety in t-shirt designs. The most common form of commercial t shirt decoration is screen-printing. In screen-printing, a design is separated into individual colors. Plastisol or water based inks are applied to the shirt through mesh screens which limits the areas where ink is deposited. In most commercial Tee shirt printing, the specific colors in the design are used. To achieve a wider colour spectrum with a limited number of colors, process printing (using only cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink) or simulated process (using only white, black, red, green, blue, and gold ink) is effective. Process printing is best suited for light colored shirts. Simulated process is best suited for dark colored shirts. Other methods of decoration used on Tee shirts include airbrush, appliqué, embroidery, impressing or embossing and the ironing on of either flock lettering, heat transfers, or dye sublimation transfers. Laser printers are capable of printing on plain paper using a special toner containing sublimation dyes which can then be permanently heat-transferred to Tee shirts. Since the late 1980s and especially the 1990s, Tee shirts with prominent designer-name logos have been popular, especially with teenagers and young adults. These garments allowed consumers to flaunt their taste in designer brands in an inexpensive way, in addition to being decorative. A popular phrase on the front of Tee shirts demonstrating Tee shirts popularity among tourists is the humorous phrase "I did _____ and all I got was this lousy T shirt." Examples include "My friend went to London and all I got was this lousy Tee shirt." and "My parents went to New York and all I got was this lousy Tee shirt." Tee shirt exchange is an activity where people trade their tee shirts they are wearing. Some designs specifically write on the shirt "trade with me"
